This policy explains what personal data we collect on jgremises.com, how we use it and what rights you have, in accordance with Uruguay's Personal Data Protection Law (Law 18,331).

1. Data controller

The data controller is Garreta Silvis Jesús Javier («JG Remises»), RUT 220992330014, located at Fauquet 6283, Montevideo. You can contact us via jgarretaremises@gmail.com · +598 94 832 388.

2. Data we collect

Contact details: name, phone number and email.
Trip details: origin, destination, date and time, duration, chosen vehicle and any notes you add.
Billing details, only if you provide them: RUT (tax ID) and company name.
Technical data: your IP address is used temporarily, without being stored with your request, to prevent abuse and verify you are not a robot.

3. How we use it

To reply to your request, send you the quote and manage the trip.
To contact you about the service (confirmations, changes, notices).
To keep the accounting and administrative records required by law.
To protect the website against spam and misuse.

We do not use your data to send you advertising without your consent, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Who we share it with

The chauffeur assigned to your trip receives your name, phone number and route details, only to provide the service.
Providers of technical services, solely for that purpose: website hosting (Hostinger), email delivery (Resend) and website protection and statistics (Cloudflare). Some of them process data outside Uruguay, with appropriate safeguards.
Authorities, when required by law or court order.

5. Cookies and statistics

The website only uses cookies required for it to work: one that remembers your chosen language and, in the company's internal panel, the staff login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

To know how many people visit the website we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying individuals. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from robots.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed to manage the service and handle follow-up queries, and then for the periods required by accounting and tax regulations.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction, update, inclusion or deletion of your data at any time by writing to jgarretaremises@gmail.com · +598 94 832 388. We reply within the time limits set by Law 18,331.

If you believe your request was not handled properly, you can file a complaint with Uruguay's data protection authority (URCDP).

8. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to data is restricted to authorised staff and we make regular backups.

9. Minors

The website is not intended for people under 18. Requests must be sent by adults, even if the trip includes minors as passengers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
